He was honorably discharged in 1945 and returned to the family farm. Willard and Clifford added the Louis Philipps place to the farming operation in the late 1940s. Probe into baby's death continues By Tribune Staff The investigation continues into the suspicious death of a 3-month-old baby in Great Falls on Monday morning.

Law enforcement didn't release any new details about what might have lead to the death of a 3-month-old boy after officials were called to 4708 Diana Drive just before 8 a.m. Monday for a report of a baby not breathing. Cascade County Attorney John Parker said investigators are still working on getting results from the autopsy, which was conducted at the Montana State Crime Lab in Missoula on Monday. Detectives from the Great Falls Police Department are still working on the case. Sgt.

Bryan Slavik of the GFPD said labeling a death as suspicious can mean a variety of things until a cause of death is determined. Investigating suspicious deaths, specifically those of infants, can mean looking at anything from sudden infant death syndrome to homicide. Any of those outcomes require a dedicated investigation from detectives. "You have to treat everything as a worst-case scenario," Slavik said.
