I LOS ANGELES TIMES MONDAY, JANUARY 24, 1994 A23 An Updated Bulletin from Kaiser Permanente KAISER PER MAIM ENTE The following is an update on the status of services at our most-affected facilities: Woodland Hills Our Woodland Hills Medical Center is open for inpatient care and emergency and urgent care. All elective surgeries are cancelled at this time. The Woodland Hills Medical Center medical offices and the Erwin Street Medical Offices are open for regular services. To make or reschedule an appointment, call your regular appointment number. West Los Angeles Our West Los Angeles Medical Center is open for inpatient care and emergency and urgent cire.

All elective surgeries are cancelled at this time. The medical offices at the West Los Angeles Medical Center are offering same-day appointments in the Internal Medicine, Family Practice, Pediatrics, and OBGYN Departments. Scheduled appointments are being honored in the Psychiatry, Radiology, Neurology, Urology, EEG, and Ophthalmology Departments. To make or reschedule an appointment or receive updated information about our services in West Lbs Angeles, call your regular appointment phone number or our special Member Phone Line at (213) 857-5836. Please allow extra time for parking.

Our parking structures sustained damage from the earthquake and are in the process of being rebuilt. Although parking on the surface lots is limited, priority is being given to members as space allows. Our Culver Marina ancHnglewood medical offices are honoring all routine appointments and accepting an expanded number of same-day appointments. San Fernando Valley Our LancasterAntelope Valley, Santa Clarita, Simi Valley, and Thousand Oaks medical offices are open for all of their regular services. Panorama City Our Panorama City Medical Center is fully operational and providing all of its usual services from routine care to emergency care.

To make or reschedule an appointment, call your regular appointment number. Granada Hills Medical Offices The Granada Hills Medical Offices are not operational. All services and all physicians and staff from these offices have been relocated to the Woodland Hills Medical Center. The Granada Hills Internal Medicine Department is now located in the Medical Office Tower, 2nd floor, entrance 4, at the Woodland Hills Medical Center. The Granada Hills Chemical Dependency Recovery Program is now located in the Medical Office Tower, entrance 4, at the Woodland Hills Medical Center.

Members who need prescriptions filled should use the 24-hour pharmacies at the Woodland Hills and Panorama City medical centers. Call your regular appointment number to make or reschedule an appointment. If your regular facility is not open for service and you need routine medical care, you may seek services at any of our medical centers and medical offices outside of the affected areas. Attention Kaiser Permanente Physicians and Employees If you have been displaced by the Northridge earthquake, please call the Employee Assistance Help Line at (81 0) 405-5555 today. We can provide you with a check for food, clothing, or shelter.

In addition you may be eligible for a special grant or an interest-free emergency loan. We're Reaching Out to the Community The well-being of all community residents is important to us at Kaiser Permanente. We are already doing all that is necessary to help provide our Health Plan members and pur customers with any health care that they may need at this time of recovery. We are reaching out now to everyone in the community who may need assistance. We are donating $400,000 to organizations throughout the communities affected by the earthquake.

The LOS Angeles Regional Food Bank, which serves more than 700 social service agencies in Los Angeles County. This food bank serves as the central receiving and distribution center for these agencies. A number Of community and free Clinics in Los Angeles County that will assist those in need. At this time our own Kaiser Permanente Wellness Care-A-Van, staffed with our physicians and nurses, is continuing to travel throughout the affected areas..
